As many of you are now aware, Governor Cuomo has given the green light for dental practices to reopen, allowing us to begin seeing our patients and continue their orthodontic care!
We will be contacting you shortly to reschedule your orthodontic appointment, and are excited to see our patient families and friends over the next few weeks. In order to adhere to required social distancing protocol, the number of scheduled patients will be decreased, while increasing the scheduled time for patient appointments.
In order to achieve these goals, we ask your patience in rescheduling your next orthodontic appointment, notwithstanding the prolonged time since your last treatment visit. Please be assured that we will schedule all treatment appointments as soon as possible, while adhering to all updated and enhanced CDC guidelines. Please feel free to call our office if you have specific questions.
Upon arrival at the office, all patients/parents will be asked to fill out a brief updated medical history, and have their temperature taken with a non-contact thermal thermometer.
Please be aware that all those entering the office MUST be wearing a mask or other suitable face cover. We ask that anyone who feels ill, has a fever (above 101.5), a cough or other respiratory issues not come to the office, and to reschedule the next treatment appointment by telephone.
In order to minimize the number of people in the office at any given time, we respectfully request that parents return to their car following completion of their child’s medical history and temperature reading. We will be happy to call your cell phone upon completion of the orthodontic appointment. Parents of our very young patients are requested to limit the office visit to one parent only (please no siblings or friends).
We are most appreciative of your patience and understanding during this transition period, and are very excited to see our patients, families and friends again. This has been a very challenging time for all of us, and we look forward to reopening to continue your dental care.
We missed you all!!
Drs. Brian Gilman, Bonnie Yellin, and Staff.
