At Gilman Orthodontic Associates, we are excited to be recognized as a certified provider of Invisalign clear aligners. These aligners are technologically advanced to straighten your teeth in the utmost convenient and comfortable manner.

invisalign profile

Invisalign clear aligners do not require any adjustments. Instead, you switch your aligner tray each week. This is equivalent to getting an adjustment each week but without the hassle of going to the office. For some patients, the time between aligner trays may be extended depending on their response to treatment.

  • Proven results: SmartTrack® material and SmartForce® features have been clinically demonstrated to boost tooth movement with predictable results.
  • Better fit: Your aligners will be custom made to fit your teeth, fitting you perfectly, this will also ensure that you can remove your aligners with ease.
  • Effective: Invisalign can be used to resolve simple and complex teeth-straightening conditions with spectacular results.
  • Virtually invisible: Due to their clear material and seamless fit, these aligners are almost impossible to spot!
  • Comfortable: Invisalign clear aligners are removable! You can take out your aligner to eat your favorite snacks and brush and floss your teeth.
  • Convenient: Treatment is ideal for packed schedules, you only have to visit us at the office every six weeks for quick progress checks.

Your First Consultation

During your initial consultation, we will review the current state of your smile and your smile goals to determine if you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment.

Your Custom Treatment Plan

We start by obtaining detailed 3D digital images of your teeth using our iTero® digital scanning system which allows us to capture and process your images in just a few minutes. Once we have the high-quality images, we can use them to determine the exact tooth movements that will be included in your treatment plan. You will get to see each expertly planned movement on the screen, ending in your new smile.

Your Invisalign Clear Aligners

To get the most out of your treatment, we recommend that you wear your aligners for 20-22 hours per day. We encourage you to remove them only to eat or drink and to perform your oral care routine.

Your Progress

As you progress through your treatment, you will notice your teeth shifting closer to their final positions. With Invisalign, most patients switch to a new aligner in the set every week. Checkups are scheduled six weeks apart to ensure that your treatment remains on track.

Taking Care of Your New Smile

Once you complete your Invisalign treatment, you will need to wear a retainer. Invisalign makes the Vivera® retainer which has a lot of the same characteristics as Invisalign clear aligners.

Be sure to schedule a complimentary consultation at our office to learn more about the Invisalign treatment system. We look forward to meeting you!
